HR Manager

Kirby Electric Inc has been around since 1990. We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to fill the HR Manager role. The HR Manager position would include a wide range of HR process support to the department and company including, but not limited to the following:
Full time (40 hours/wk)
Hourly Wage: $60k-$80k Salary

Accountabilities:
- Participate as needed with hiring, termination, onboarding and offboarding activities
- HR/Safety reporting
- Coordination of employee engagement events
- Respond to employee questions related to benefits and HR matters
- Coordinate communication with the Payroll Manager regarding employee benefits participation and new hire details
- Assist with documentation for background checks, certifications, credentials and driving records
- Support apprentice course completion/attendance/certification activities
- Support the maintenance of employee personnel files and safety related documentation
- Participate in updating hiring ads and job descriptions
- Support activities related to recruitment, retention, internal promotion and succession planning
- Pursue ongoing knowledge of employment law and regulations
- Recruit, train, and develop Kirby Electric employees to support Company growth objectives.
- Exercise problem solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills in verbal and written communication with employees and leadership
- Recommend best practices, current on trends and technologies, review Company policies to maintain legal compliance, and provide support to Leadership regarding specialized questions and sensitive/delicate HR issues
- Collaborate with Department Managers/Operations to understand skills and competencies required for position openings
- Manage employee benefits
- Help develop and implement processes for various employee functions
- Perform other related duties as assigned/needed
Position Qualifications:
- Construction industry experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Proven accuracy and integrity in previous work/referrals
- Experienced with Accounting and Microsoft Software
- Competent with considerable workload, fast pace, and deadlines
01 Electrical Foreman – North End
Description:
Responsible for ensuring crew follows all state, local, jobsite and company safety policies. Lead morning meetings. Plan, supervise and perform all phases of commercial electrical work. Communicate clearly with crew and office, order materials and approve field time for crew. Work closely with Superintendents and Project Managers to control hours and job costs.
Reports to: Superintendents
Full time: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $58 – $61 per hour, DOE

Assigned Tasks:
01 Electrician
- Perform electrical work in a safe and efficient manner
- Supervise crews in the installation of electrical systems including installation of wiring, conduits, transformers, lighting, switches, breakers, meters, switch gear etc.
- Recommending changes to electrical design to ensure that they meet local codes and standards
- Read, understand, interpret construction drawings
- Oversee and train Electrical Trainees
- Submit materials requests to Purchasing Agent.
- Submit safety inspections – Weekly/or at change of task
- Complete accident report and send to Safety Dept/HR/Superintendent
- Receive and inventory materials via Procore
- Accurately post time in Field Time (Jonas), assigned to correct projects/tasks
